Afyon Eber was given the Best Project Award for the Second Time.

Eber Biomass Power Plant (BES), which was put into production in Afyon by Oltan Köleoğlu Enerji (OKE), won the 'Best Project Award' this year.

Organized by the International Energy and Environment Fair and Conference, whose short name is ICCI In the 'ICCI Energy Awards' competition where energy sector projects in Turkey are rewarded, Eber BES in Afyon's Çay district was awarded the 'Best Project Award' for the second time in the Biomass Energy Category by OKE. Eber BES had won the same award the previous year.

With the 'Afyon Eber Biomass Power Plant' owned by Oltan Köleoğlu Energy, an average of 220 thousand tons of agricultural waste is eliminated annually and 210,121,000 kWh/year of renewable energy is produced. Thus, the project supports sustainable development and plays an important role in slowing down climate change by preventing approximately 90,500 tons of carbon emissions annually. Operating in the field of environmentally friendly renewable energy and chaired by Ertuğrul Doğan, the Vice President of Trabzonspor, Oltan Köleoğlu Enerji contributes to local and national energy with a total of 4 Biomass Power Plants established in Çorum Mecitözü, Samsun Çarşamba, Afyon Eber and Karaman.

Ertuğrul Doğan stated that they continue their work in the field of local and renewable energy resources with a business model that takes both environmental and social benefits into consideration in every process, and said that they will continue to produce value by creating employment for Turkey and the World with new investments.
